HitachiSoft Code of Conduct
HitachiSoft has set forth a corporate code of conduct aiming at a full awareness of the mission and role of the company, as well as allowing us to continue to grow as the leader of the information industry.
Basic Concept of HitachiSoft Code of Conduct
HitachiSoft employees maintain pride in the company’s mission of “Quest for Truth,” along with the principles of harmony, sincerity, and a pioneering spirit, on Hitachi Founding Spirit. HitachiSoft contributes to society through the development of superior, original technology and products.
HitachiSoft fully recognizes that it is a vital member of society, and promotes fair and transparent corporate conduct both in and outside Japan, while respecting human rights, related laws, international rules, and the spirit of these regulations. Moreover, the company is striving as an upstanding citizen to help realize a truly prosperous society, by making proactive corporate contributions, and striving always to operate in harmony with the natural environment.
Code of Conduct
- HitachiSoft employees shall make a united effort for promoting partnership in the company and the Hitachi Group, with a spirit of harmony in mind, and increase mutual understanding and friendly relations with people outside the company.
- HitachiSoft employees shall be aware of new needs of the times in society, be ready to respond to these needs by developing advanced and reliable technologies and products, and provide sincere and truthful customer services.
- HitachiSoft employees shall demonstrate a pioneering spirit, and strive to be the world’s technology leader through exploration, research and development of technology in collaboration with the Hitachi Group.
- HitachiSoft employees shall always be alert to information at home and abroad in order to accumulate knowledge, will continue to develop their personal qualities and act in conformity with all applicable laws and proper corporate ethics.
- HitachiSoft employees shall always act on the principles of fair and orderly competition.
- HitachiSoft employees shall respect the value of management and technology information of other companies while fully recognizing our own, and strive to establish and maintain a strict information management system.
- HitachiSoft employees shall be fully aware of the importance of the protection of personal and customer information in the information service industry, and strive to establish and maintain a strict information management system.
- HitachiSoft employees shall observe international rules, local laws and regulations applying to their overseas activities, and respect the culture and customs of other nations while striving to manage their overseas activities in such a way as to promote and contribute to the development of local communities.
- HitachiSoft employees shall understand that maintaining global peace and safety is crucial for the credibility of domestic industry and the nation, and thus strictly observe international trade laws and regulations.
- The senior management of HitachiSoft shall take initiatives to act according to the aforementioned code of conduct, offer guidance to their subordinates for the smooth execution of work, maintain discipline and order in the workplace, and create a vital work environment to boost the morale of employees. They shall also communicate this code of conduct to other group companies and business partners.
