Fundamental Policy towards CSR
True to our corporate credo, “Quest for Truth,” HitachiSoft strives to contribute to society through the development of outstanding, unique technology and products. The “Hitachi Software Engineering Corporate Code of Conduct” has also been established to serve as a guideline for the behavior of the employees who implement this.
Cooperate Credo and CSR
Our corporate creed “Quest for Truth” is the cornerstone of HitachiSoft and remains constant even as times change. Our fundamental CSR policy is to contribute to society through the development of outstanding, unique technology and products. We have also established the “Hitachi Software Engineering Corporate Code of Conduct” to serve as a guideline for the behavior of our employees as they carry out CSR, because it is they who fly our corporate banner and come face to face with our customers and stakeholders.
Action Policy in Our CSR Activities
The Hitachi Group formulated the “CSR Policy of the Hitachi Group” in March 2005 out of the recognition that it is important to introduce a CSR focus in the various corporate activities that it engages in. The Group also strives to ensure that all employees and executives implement CSR in performing their daily duties in accordance with this policy with the aim of meeting the expectations of stakeholders.
CSR Promotion System
The CSR Division was established in April 2006. Serving a central role, it links all other related divisions so that CSR activities that had been conducted separately are now reviewed by a CSR Committee and promoted as corporate-wide activities, resulting in initiatives that are even more effective.
