HitachiSoft has been working on improving and expanding its working environment to realize a balance between work and life among its employees, respecting each employee's personality, ability,ethics, and woking style. As part of this approach, we held "HitachiSoft's Family Day"for our employees and their family members at our offices in Tokyo and Yokohama. 190 members of 56 families attended in this occasion.

As part of HitachiSoft's CSR activities, volunteer employees offered a workshop on good and bad aspects of Information Technology aimed at junior high shool students. Young engineers as instructors effectively utilized the company's electric whiteboard "StarBoard" in the class.

HitachiSoft joined TABLE FOR TWO program, which was brought up by a Tokyo-based NPO. In this program, we serve healthy meals at our cafeteria and donate ¥20 per meal to the NPO. The donation will be used to provide school meals to children in developing countries.
